Are you a keen baker with an eye for detail?

The National Bakery School - part of London South Bank University Group - is devising a new training course for unemployed individuals who want to work in the bakery industry.

The fully-funded programme will include employability support and training, covering all aspects of bakery - both practical and theory.

What you'll learn

You'll cover elements of theory and science, as well as techniques such as:
  • Loaves and baguettes
  • Pre-fermentation
  • Croissants
  • Meringues
  • Labelling
  • Costings

Fully funded

The bootcamp is free to attend has been funded by the Mayor of London and the Department for Education.. You will get the most out of these sessions if you are passionate about the bakery/patisserie sector.

Eligibility criteria

Spaces are limited so check you are free to attend the sessions and meet the following requirements:

  • Unemployed and living in London

  • Aged 19 or over

  • Committed to attending training in-person in Southwark, SE1

  • Keen to work in the bakery/patisserie sector
